\"\"When I was managing a medical spa in Dallas, Texas, I had no idea that anti-aging skincare, in such a short time, would become the biggest segment of the beauty industry with expected global sales to cross $130 billion<\/a> by 2019. So, when the opportunity was presented to be part of Neora<\/a>, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to combine two of my passions: innovative skincare and people.<\/p>\n

Well, it\u2019s been almost six years since Neora exploded onto the scene. I\u2019m so proud of the amazing accomplishments we have been able to achieve as a team. In a few years, Neora\u2019s reach has expanded worldwide as we continue to develop a strong customer base in North America, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific markets while earning top accolades in the industry.<\/p>\n

Recently, I started thinking about ways to interact and engage more with the people that have made Neora\u2019s successes possible: YOU. One of my goals, as Neora\u2019s CMO, is to help educate people on our products as well as our company\u2019s mission<\/a> of Making People Better<\/strong>. For this reason, I really want to bring more value to each one of you as your CMO. Which is why, starting in July, I will be focusing on different topics each month that will hopefully bring value to your life. This will include videos, resources, and live interactions.<\/p>\n

This month we will be discussing why it\u2019s never too late<\/em>\u2026 and really explore what that means to you and to me. We\u2019ll discuss why you need to get out of your comfort zone<\/a> to realize it\u2019s never too late to change your mindset, to do what you\u2019ve always wanted to do and to be who you\u2019ve always wanted to be. The truth is, it\u2019s never too late to reinvent yourself.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

How many times do people use \u201cnot the right time\u201d as an excuse to not<\/em> step out of their comfort zone<\/a> and go after what they want? It happens all the time, right? The truth is it will never be the right time. You may never feel smart enough, experienced enough, confident enough, or connected enough to take the leap of faith. That is why it is called a leap. The most important part is just deciding to take that first step in faith. We often assume that successful people are the ones that are the smartest, most confident people with the best connections. And while this is sometimes the case, it often isn’t. They are just the people who decided to passionately pursue their calling regardless of what other people thought, or how uncomfortable it made them feel.<\/p>\n

Being uncomfortable is not a bad thing \u2014 it just means you are pushing yourself. The only way to grow is to do something outside of what you are already good at. I speak in front of large crowds. Many times, people will comment how they could never speak in public and how lucky I am to have a talent. SPOILER ALERT: I almost got sick the first few times I spoke to large crowds. My hands and voice shook so much, it looked like I saw a ghost. But I kept doing it despite being uncomfortable. Even when I wasn\u2019t very good at it. I did it enough that eventually, I became good at it. Success is always on the other side of discomfort. The question is, are you willing to be uncomfortable to get there?<\/p>\n

Define your Purpose<\/h3>\n

I have found the best way to get yourself to act is to get really clear on what your calling is, what your purpose is. So much so that it becomes more important to you than your comfort zone. As long as your comfort is more important to you than your calling, you won\u2019t act. You will sit and wait until you are \u201cenough\u201d.  And the truth is you are enough. Right now. Today!<\/p>\n

Here are some helpful steps to focus on your calling:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Write it down.<\/strong> Put into words what your passion in is life. What is so important to you that you would risk everything for it. Make it as descriptive as possible.<\/li>\n
  2. Look at it every single day.<\/strong> Every day, read what you wrote to remind yourself why it is so important to you.<\/li>\n
  3. Notice when you have \u201cnot enough\u201d thoughts and replace them with a positive affirmation, meditation, or prayer.<\/li>\n
  4. When you feel \u201cuncomfortable\u201d consider it a WIN. Celebrate being uncomfortable.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

    JO<\/a> always says, \u201cIt\u2019s never too late to start. It\u2019s always too late to wait.\u201d I love that! Look at J.K. Rowling \u2013 author of the best-selling book series of all time, Harry Potter. At this point, I am sure you now that J.K. Rowling was an unemployed single mother on welfare when she wrote the first Harry Potter book. Rowling went from being unemployed to being a multi-millionaire in five years. I can recount so many more stories about the challenges regular people undergo to make it big \u2013 from Bill Gates\u2019<\/a> first business failure to Virgin Records<\/a> founder Richard Branson<\/a> overcoming his dyslexia<\/a> to become the fourth richest person in the U.K. Stories of success is all around us, and it\u2019s never too late to add your story to this mix!<\/p>\n
